EIX to Sponsor the 2025 California Entrepreneurship Educators Conference

EIX is proud to sponsor the 2025 California Entrepreneurship Educators Conference. The event, hosted by San Diego State University, will be held in San Diego on April 23-27, 2025. It brings together educators from colleges and universities around the globe to share knowledge and discuss the latest developments in entrepreneurship-related pedagogy and research.

This year, the program will include a session entitled, "Leveraging Research in Entrepreneurship Education." EIX Senior Editor Daniel Forbes and Prof. Erin Scott of MIT's Sloan School of Management will lead the session. Attendees will be invited to explore ways of making research-based knowledge more accessible and relevant to students in entrepreneurship courses. 

"The growth and maturation of entrepreneurship research creates new opportunities for educators and students" explains Forbes. "But at the same time, it can be challenging for educators to integrate research into the classroom."

In the session, Profs. Forbes and Scott will share their own experiences in making research accessible and interesting to students. Afterwards, participants will break into roundtables to further discuss the challenges they encounter and the strategies they utilize.
